Dot2Dot @Gift OVADA 2008

Dot2Dot was a project I did as part of the TIE(the Ideas Exchange Group) in our group show
at the OVADA gallery in Oxford.
The Theme of the show was GIFT.
My take on this theme was to 'give' my gallery space to other people who showed their 'Gift' by
entering into a kind of drawing that we all know from our childhood. The Dot2dot drawings.
In this case though only the first 3 dots were numbered the other dots were free to be joined
in any way.
The dot were in the 'constellation' of the word gift-not many noticed this though.

Bonn-Oxford
One of my more recent projects.
For a long time now I have been
fascinated by Radio set and how they work.
This and the fact that moving back to England after growing up in Germany meant ,
that I had to re-tune into being English.
As part of the Twinning between Oxford and Bonn(I've lived in both cities) I arranged a
simultaneous exchange of English and German Radio stations.
This picture shows me being interviewed by BBC Oxford whilst listening to them on an old Radio set in the Bonn Market Square.
The Bonn local station was being transmitted in Oxford.
